The Nigerian richest man ,has cleared a doubt that spread some days ago ,of closing his cement company situated at Mtwara, southern part of Tanzania . Days ago national and international medias reported on the plan of Dangote to close his cement company.
The news created lots of tension all over the world, questions rose on What would be the reasons for a closure of the company. What would happen to the people who were employed to the particular company. Would the Tanzanian government under president Magufuli allow this to happen ?. All of this questions and many more were asked by people around the world with no clear answers.
Unclear answered questions made president Magufuli meet with the Nigerian richest man for a talk .The meeting ended up with joy to both sides, on the side of the Tanzanian government the president admitted that there were some people who had a mission of manipulating the investment .He also assured the rich man full support in making sure that the man is comfortable on whatever investment he wants to put in Tanzania.
On the other side, Dangote assured the president on many things ,one is that he will continue with the cement company and to put more evidence he spoke of 600 truck newly bought for the company . Second he promised to use raw materials from within the country in the production process. Lastly he assured more investment not only on the cement industry but also in other sectors. And this mean a lot to the Government as it will open more employment opportunities and increase more revenue
